Toastmaster of the Evening: TM Ming Kang, PM2

The meeting began with TM Kean Teng sharing about the influential presence of e-wallets in our present society due to its seamlessness, convenience and security. The meeting then proceeded with the induction ceremony of TM Hong Jian and TM Ee Jie.

The Table Topics session was conducted by TM Ikhtifar, PM5, DL2. The topics were related to finance, as per the theme of the meeting.

For the meeting, we have two prepared speeches. The first speech was presented by TM Ee Jie, titled “Me Myself and I”. TM Ee Jie shared about how he decided to improve his English speaking skills by joining UMTMC due to the influence of his friend TM Joshua.

The next speech was “Curiosity Did Not Kill the Cat” by TM Hong Jian. TM Hong Jian shared about the importance of curiosity which will make our lifes more delightful.

Following the prepared speech session, the speakers were evaluated by:

  • TM Ee Jie by TM Xing En
  • TM Hong Jian by TM Resmy
  • TM Xing En by TM Shawn, PM5, EC5

Subsequently, we have our reporting from our technical role players:

  • Timer: TM Joshua
  • General Evaluator: DTM Ricky Soo

The winners for the meeting are as follow:

  • Best Table Topics Speaker: TM Joshua
  • Best Evaluator: TM Shawn
