Welcome back! After a one-week holiday, we resumed our meeting. Our Toastmasters of the Evening, TM Elisha, radiated a positive vibe to the audience. ·Next, first-timer Table Topic Master, TM Jeff, hosted the Table Topics Session.

Further, we had 4 project speakers. They were:

  1. TM Shen Wei – Life as a game of chess
  2. TM Wei Lok – Let Go
  3. TM Shawn – Can Do Spirit
  4. ACS, ALB Sara – Push Yourself

Moving on, ACB,ALB Joseph Wong from TARC Toastmasters Club led the General Evaluation Session. CC Sam Win gave constructive feedback to Shen Wei’s speech. While CC CL Jian Hao gave a humorous comment to Wei Lok’s performance. Besides, The Division C Evaluation’s Winner, TM Mei Choon from School of Hard Knocks Toastmasters Club, gave fantastic evaluations to TM Shawn’s speech. Lastly, DTM Jing Yi, who was called as “one of the UM Toastmasters Club ancestors” by Joseph, evaluated Sara’s speech.

Besides, we had technical evaluations too. The Grammarian’s, Ah Counter and the Timekeeper’s Report.

Then, Joseph Wong gave constructively and pin-point accuracy feedback to our meeting as a whole.

Next, we had the awards session. *Drum’s roll*

  1. Best Table Topics Speaker: Sara, ACS, ALB
  2. Best Project Speech Speaker: Shawn, TM
  3. Best Evaluator : Mei Choon, TM (School of Hardknocks Toastmasters Club)

Besides, we had a token of appreciation to our General Evaluator, ACB ALB Joseph Wong.

Last but not least, our club president, TM Tineesha gave a closing address. She invited everyone to the club’s joint meeting with PJ Toastmasters Club next Monday (7 Nov 2016).
